The weather this weekend has been atrocious, with the rain beating down on most of the country. The one thing Mother Nature fails to realise is that us Black Country folk are hardened souls, not letting a little drizzle get us down! And Saturday was a prime example of this, as there was 170 in attendance to see Alpha Wrestling Evolution perform at Tipton Sports Academy. Feedback for the show has been very positive so thank you to those who commented. Here are the results of the show: -

Match One – Lee Hunter defeated “Prime Hate” Joe Logan with a Sunset Flip.

Promo – Big Richard Action introduced AWE Tag Team Champions Clarkeward, who sang “Dancing In The Street” to the AWE Crowd. “Renegade” Ian Rogers and Orion Adams interrupted to challenge Clarkeward for the titles. Big Richard Action accepted on behalf of Clarkeward.

Match Two – “The Iron Serb” Ilya Dragovic defeated Brett Ryan by a Black Hole Slam.

Match Three – Dave Mastiff defeated The Judge with a German Suplex into a Lariat.

Match Four – Lord Graham Thomas III defeated Jim Hunter with a Powerbomb.

Match Five – Clarkeward retained the AWE Tag Team Titles by defeating “Renegade” Ian Rogers and Orion Adams. Rogers attempted a suplex from the outside and Big Richard Action held onto Rogers’ ankle, for Matt Clarke to counter for the win.

Match Six – MAIN EVENT – “The Rapid Fire” Tommy Gunn was victorious over “The Golden Member” Edward J Hughes in a Ladder Match to remain AWE Heavyweight Champion.

We are just one day away from Saturday’s big AWE 2012 Finale event at Tipton Sports Academy and current AWE Tag Team Champions Clarkeward are set to return to the location where the pair were first formed. Since the A Factor Auditions back in 2011, Matt & Mark “have simply not looked back”. Not our words; the very words of their untrustworthy, cunning and devious manager, the creator of A Factor, Big Richard Action.

They immediately rose to the top of the AWE tree, claiming gold on the same night of their formation. Ever since that faithfully night, their heads and egos have grown bigger and bigger by the second and the Diluded Duo are 100% convinced that everyone wants a part of the Phenomenon that is Clarkeward. So much so, they are willing to go to great lengths to perform anywhere in the country to raise their profile. Their “rise to stardom” has been branded “meteoric”, which has led them to sing and dance to hits by One Direction, LMFAO and Maroon5, not to mention their first music video, I Want It That Way by The BackStreet Boys. Saturday will be no exception as they are set to EXCLUSIVELY perform another “hit”.

What they lack in “Talent”, they certainly make up in ring ability. Clarkeward are a fast and formidable pairing with many years of wrestling experience under the belt. With Big Richard Action in their corner, any opponent standing before them must have eyes in the back of their heads. All gimmicks aside, Clarkeward are quickly becoming a tag team to write off at your peril. Will they challenge any opponents and subsequently put the AWE Tag Team Championship up for grabs when turn up on Saturday Night?

Be sure to head over Tipton Sports Academy on Saturday 24th November to watch an excellent night of professional wrestling. It’s sure to be a belter of a show!

Earlier in the week, we announced an huge one and one bout between Dave Mastiff and The Judge. Well, AWE fans are set to witness another treat on Saturday when AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rapid Fire Tommy Gunn will put his title on the line against The Goldenmember.

Tommy Gunn has been sitting pretty at the top of the AWE ladder for quite some time, firmly establishing himself as a fans favourite. Every show, Tommy puts 110% into his performance, putting his body on the line and preparing to risk it all to come out on top and please the AWE crowd. However, The Rapid Fire will certainly have his work cut out when he squares up against The Goldenmember Shawn J Hughes.

Serious, Ambitious, Driven. Three word’s that define those who want to be successful in their fields and that’s exactly what The Goldenmember sees himself as. The fact that he accompanies these positive attributes with being arrogant, self-centred and egotistical makes him one of the most loathed members of the AWE Roster. His tenaciousness has lead to many victories within AWE and recently lead to him winning AWE’s signature 15-1 Tournament. This, in turn, has given him the opportunity at the gold and, come Saturday Evening, The Goldenmember will do anything in his power to add the AWE Heavyweight Title to his distinguished collection of achievements.

Just to add a little spice to it all, AWE are excited to announce that the AWE Heavyweight Title Contest will be A LADDER MATCH!!!! The stage has been set for these two technically gifted wrestlers to pit their wits against each other. Neither one will be willing to lose. This one will go down to the wire and is going to be EXPLOSIVE!

Alpha Wrestling Evolution are excited to reveal a new addition to our roster……Ladies and Gentleman, he is none other than Lord Graham Thomas III!!!

LGT comes across as an overly snobbish, smarmy and sly individual who looks down on most before him and has clearly been born with a silver spoon up his backside. However, do not let this facade deter you from the fact that he is a very accomplished wrestler, who is very active on many rosters up and down the country. This year has seen “His Lordship” some top international stars, including Jonathan Gresham and TNA Star Mark Haskins.

Lord Graham Thomas III debuted for AWE back at Tipton in May and will be looking to get one over on any “peasant” who stands before him. LGT is scheduled to be on our Saturday show at Tipton Sports Academy. Who will he face and will he be victorious in front of the AWE fans??? Be sure to come down and watch an action packed event of professional wrestling.

With one eye firmly on Saturday’s last AWE show of the year at Tipton Sports Academy, we thought it would only be right in let you know what matches all you AWE fans are set to witness this weekend!

Therefore, we are pleased to tell you all that our first match on the card is between two AWE Heavyweights – The Judge and Dave Mastiff!

Dave Mastiff is one of the UK’s top wrestlers. Mastiff has a wealth of experience, wrestling in Japan and America in recent years and competing against some top International stars. He made his AWE debut in May and is set to take the company by storm….but not if The Judge has anything to do with it! The ever present, ever mouthy Judge himself is a veteran himself and will no doubt adopt a cunning strategy to topple Big Dave!

Be sure to come to Tipton Sports Academy on Saturday and watch some phenomenal wrestling take place. The card is shaping up to be pretty tasty! Keep you eyes peeling tomorrow night as another bout will be announce!
